To insure a great night of music you need to
have great sound and equipment.
Here is the equipment Bob uses for his performances.

Ovation Double Neck Guitar
This unique instrument is the ultimate in portability and on stage ease.
With a full sound and equalization that allows for clarity and simplicity, its the best guitar for finger picking or strumming.

With a solid spruce top and simple volume and tone control this guitar is sweet!
The neck has great action and you feel as though you have dropped back to 1965 each time you pick this gem up.

As I get older I want my equipment to be lighter...and just as importantly....sound great!
Rather then carrying speakers, speaker stands, cables, and the amplifier, this is one piece with enough "throw" to fill a medium sized venue.  It has 100 presets so that you can vary your sound using the accompanying 4 channel footswitch.

If you must have an amp that has impeccable sound, with more than two inputs and has the "throw" that might be neccesary for a larger room, or outdoor setting then the Kustom Profile is the way to go.  It's portability is terrific given the fact that everything is carried in a one piece carrier with wheels.  The speakers  mount on their own tripod, and the whole set up is very light for those of us who are "half past 39".

Shure Wireless System

       Shure Wireless System
Okay, I admit it...there isn't a gig that goes by that I can't find a moment to trip over a cable and knock over a mic stand or music stand.  The answer to this problem?  Go wireless!  The Shure Wireless is a wonderful system for my guitars.  Crisp clear tone with tremendous reach.  I have used this system being 100 feet from the mic to the receiver.

Audio Technica Wireless
Clean, clear, easy wireless that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.
I use this system for vocals.  Aside from the fact that it takes a split second to set up I like the idea that I can generally get two full gigs out of the battery life on the microphone.  No one should have to stop in mid-song to change batteries!

For pure tonal quality along with unmatched harmonies, you cannot beat this!  It provides perfect 2 and 3 part harmonies thus giving the audience the sense that what they are listening to is more than vocals, it's an event!

This microphone has balance, tone and works great when you are working a gig where you want to really get across the subtleties of your lyrics.

Hohner Blues Harp

Hohner Blues Harp
Everyone has their favorite make of harp I guess.  For me it has always been the Hohner family of harps.  I prefer wood over plastic.  I like the way you can bend a note with utter ease.  Whether in a harp brace or handheld, the tone is always true!

The portability and lightness of this system is superb.  You can get creative with the lighting with strobe and pulsing features, however, it is just right for providing a little color and effectiveness to your performance.
